Steiff’s American Heritage series of Teddy bears is inspired by unique vintage bears found in the most important private Steiff collections in the United States. (The “One in a Million Bear” and “Betsy Ross”, introduced in 2003, were the charter editions in the American Heritage Teddy series). Both of these outstanding Teddies, the American Pride Teddy and the Charles Teddy, are based on bears from the collection of Dee Hockenberry.
