Snuffles was first introduced in 1981 with an ad titled, �Ain�t Love Gund?". Since then, he has become an award winning icon, being honored with an Oppenheim Blue Chip Award and Scholastic Parent and Child Award and was even featured in a special Snuffles book in 1997.
